Stan's Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant. They're kinda famous for their turkey salad sandwich and for their cookies. Oh, the cookies... Darrow's in Mackinaw City. Pretty much everything there is delicious -- it's all homemade -- but definitely don't leave without having a piece of pie. Martini's Pizza in Kalamazoo. They have a website but I couldn't get it to load. Anyway, just trust me. This pizza will change your life. I'll second the Amadeus and Silvio's recommendations in Ann Arbor and I'll add the Northside Grill.

I would suggest Mama Bear's Cafe in Lansing's Old Town. It is a great organic and local restaurant. I also love Pablo's Panaderia in Old Town. They have the best, real, Mexican food.

I love one of their other restaurants - Pearl's in Elk Rapids - and have always heard good things about their Red Mesa Grill. Thanks for the tip!

These other places sound great and I definitely have to try any pizza that makes you weep for joy.

My husband and I LOVE the Latin food at the Red Mesa Grill in Traverse City. Everything we've tried there so far has been excellent. It was the yummy sounding menu on their website that convinced us to give them a try. We are glad we did! http://www.redmesagrill.com

They offer a wide variety of delicious homemade entrees and desserts.

The Sunday brunch offers an opportunity to sample over 20 entrees and is an excellent value!

The Willow Tree also offers monthly theme wine tasting 7-course meals and regular comedy club opportunities for entertainment.

Please try Silvio's Organic Pizza on N. University Street in Ann Arbor. They have the best food at the best price with the friendliest staff. And, they deliver. Their dough is amazing and ask for the mushroom/truffle pizza. It will make you weep with joy.

Franks Resturant is the best place in Ann Arbor to eat everything is made to order and we like that it may take a while to get your food but it is made just fi=or you and the way you like it.

Amadeus Restaurant in Ann Arbor. It's small and not very well-known, but wonderful!
