Michigan's Project Blue Star - Serving Those Who Serve Us

Patriotic Paint by Mac Girl

Project Blue Star is an effort to lend a helping hand to the families of Michigan soldiers serving overseas. The program identifies and catalogues all services available to military families in one convenient on-line location. With a history dating back to World War I, Blue Star programs have been around for quite a while.

Here in Michigan there's many ways you can get involved:

  • Sign up your business or organization to assist in the efforts.
  • Find a local group in your area with services listed by county.
  • Donate to the Military Family Relief Fund which provide grants to qualifying families of military members in either the Michigan National Guard or Reserves who are called to active duty.

For more ways on how you can assist Michigan's service members and their families, be sure to check out Michigan Army National Guard Family Program and your local Red Cross offers several more options for you to locally support Michigan troops and their families.
