Motown is 50

January 8, 2009 is the 50th birthday of Motown. There are a bunch of great Motown videos on YouTube like this Temptations video and the first Motown smash - Shop Around by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, but this live Motown medley from the Sound Of Motown TV special on British show Ready Steady Go featuring The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Dusty Springfield and Smokey Robinson and The Miracles takes the (birthday) cake!

More about Motown's 50th Anniversary can be found over at Michigan in Pictures.
