Photo Friday: Barton Dam Angled

Barton Dam

The Barton Dam on the Huron River is a favorite subject for Ann Arbor photographers. Andrea Wiggins says she's ambitious, enthusiastic, hard working, and very good at what she does. She invites you to check out her blog and we encourage you to view more of her photography.

(and have a great weekend and GO TIGERS!)

This is a great shot, Andrea! There's a bunch more from Andrea and other at that second link as well!

Thanks! I was very pleased by the dynamic range in this one. The vignetting and distortion from the Holga's plastic lens give images a quality more like human vision, sharp in the center but fuzzier and more distorted further out.

I always wondered about why Holga pics have a more natural feel to them - thanks for the info!
