Photo Friday: Pappy by Pistol Pete

Pappy by Pistol Pete

Pete writes: My Grandfather Ray, he worked for GM for 40+ years in various factories and started in the infamous "hole" and was there for the sit down strikes. He is great man and even better grandpa.

Pete feels that there's something in all of us that is communicated through our photos, and from portraits like this that capture the spirit of the subject to photos of abandoned artifacts that retain life, he delivers.

(since it was mentioned, here's a little bit about the sit down strikes from Absolute Michigan)

The word I'm looking for is just not coming to me, but this is incredible. I feel like I'm looking at my own grandpa. Stunning.
