Of this photo taken at the Country Cider Mill in Charlotte, Erich Z says "One thing that really irritates me in scanning polaroids is grain. When you look at this picture in person, there is no grain. Somehow my scanner adds a tremendous amount of noise or grain or whatever you want to call it. Very annoying."
The commenters on his photo seem to agree that grain is good.

This is such a tasty shot. I love the colors and the depth and the sense of the pumpkin's "heft" that the photo conveys.
