I'm only in fifth grade but know so much about rene-robert calieier de La Salle!!! man that was a mouth full! Anyway he was amazing and I found so much information on him. he is like a legend or some kind of hero he did all kinds of stuff all over the world!! he is amazing! if he were here I would tell him that he is amazing!!He is know my idol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying to find out more about the specific route taken by La Salle on his 1680 trip across southern Michigan. This for history curriculum enhancement for an Outdoor-Environmental Education Center in Jackson County.

If possible, I would like to know the sources used in writing the materials for the January 2006 article on La Salle.
