Rivers in winter, rivers in timeMichigan in Pictures has a pair of features that I hope you take the time to explore. Today, blogger Eric Baerran of Among the Trees and photographer Lisa Yanick take you down to the Chippewa River in winter.

On Saturday, one of Michigan's legendary photographers, Frederick Dickinson was featured with a hand-colored shot of Fishtown on the Leland River in 1940.
