Shout Sister Shout, the first album by Rachael Davis and Steppin' In It, "focuses on old-time American Jazz featuring torch swing numbers alongside bluesy ballads."

Rachael Davis and Steppin' In It came together by the fall of 2006, after playing at many concerts as a double-bill and now, by "Combining the timeless rhythm section of Steppin’ In It and Rachael’s velvety vocals, this group 'creates a live show that is hot, energetic and brilliant…'"
