When I was younger, Jim & Linda were good friends of my parents, and I was awakened more than once to make omelets for them at 3 am. The last time I saw Jim (20 years or so ago) I said "Hey Jim, how's it going?" He looked at me like I was out of line for daring to speak with someone of his fame. That made me pretty mad and I pretty much wrote him off after that point.
