So deep, wide and long is the weirdness of Michigan, that it couldn't be contained in one book. Author Linda S. Godfrey has followed up Weird Michigan with the sequel, Strange Michigan: More Wolverine Weirdness, co-authored with Michigander Lisa A. Shiel. The book features all new material - everything from Detroit's Satanic Shrine to the Dogman Carver - with the same full color, lavish photos and illustrations, the same combination of legend, hauntings, creatures, roadside and folk art, weird history and more - all in a new format arranged alphabetically by city.

Linda will be in Southwest Michigan on a premiere tour at four libraries the weekend of Nov. 1-3 for a  presentation along with a book sale and signing at each of the locations below:

• Nov. 1 Buchanan Public Library 1 pm and St. Joseph Public Library 4 pm
• Nov. 2 Kalamazoo Public Library 2 pm
• Nov. 3 Bridgeman Public Library 6 pm
