Joseph Fulton put together this amazing tribute to the 29 men who died November 10, 1975 aboard the Edmund Fitzgerald in Lake Superior set to The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot. This video is one of the best I've ever seen on YouTube and I hope you can watch it.

PLANNED DETROIT LAUNCHED CELEBRATIONS

I have become enthralled by the Fitzgerald in the past year and watched all these videos. It prompted me to visit Whitefish Point this month and write about the experience (http://blogs.pioneerlocal.com/religion). I had no idea it was the 50th anniversary of the launch.
I have read about a recreation simulation created by some college university. Why isn't it posted anywhere?
