One of the recent additions to our Absolute Michigan Map are all of Michigan's State Parks (97 or so). They can be found by looking for the little pine tree (which is the same symbol used to identify them on road signs!).
The photo is morning mist by tobibritsch, who says that this was taken at sunrise on the Tahquamenon River (Lower Tahquamenon Falls State Park, Rustic Campgrounds).

I would like for you to add an event to your on line events calendar or 2009 calendar. Would someone please get back with me ASAP? We are hosting our 6th annual Mid Michigan Vintage Snowmobile Swap & Show. We have become the 2nd largest event of this kind in the state, and our coverage in mass media is growing rapidly.
Last year we were featured as a front page article in the Midland Daily News, and we have had several major radio stations speak of our event. We were scheduled to have WJRT TV12 come and do an article/report but they had to cancel at last minute.
We are a family and history oriented event, with special displays & awards for the kids, raffle drawings several times per hour, and most importantly- for the last 2 years we have made a considerable donation to the Johnny Burke Childrens Foundation.
Our event is set for Sunday Aug 9th in Sanford MI- just north of Midland.
