Old US 27 Motor Tour and the new Route 66
Tthe second annual Old U.S. 27 Auto Tour begins today in Coldwater and includes four stops in mid-Michigan en-route to a finish Saturday in Cheboygan. Other stops include Marshall, Lansing, St. Johns, Ithica, St. Louis, Claire, Harrison, Grayling and Gaylord.

Dig Michigan: Flint and the Tri-cities of Bay City, Saginaw & Midland
Some scholars consider the Saginaw Valley, particularly the vicinity of Flint, to be the oldest continually inhabited part of Michigan. Dig on in and learn more about the history and modern-day cultural & recreational attractions of the region.

Spotlight: Buckley Old Engine Show, August 14-17
Head on out to the 41st annual Buckley Old Engine Show. It features old-fashioned fun including 900 antique tractors and about 600 antique gas and oil engines, petting zoo, kiddie tractor pull, more than 200 old-fashioned musicians, dances and a 600-lot flea market.
