Into the Woods, thru April; Marquette This exhibit traces the forests of the Upper Peninsula from trees over 9000 years old to contemporary times. The natural history area features birds, animal habitats, tree ring counting and plenty of information about tree identification and distribution. The lumber industry is shown through cutting, hauling, railroads, milling, and lumber camp life.
