The New York Times Beers of the Times recently did a tasting of Belgian Golden Ales that Michigan - precisely the Leelanau Brewing Company and Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales - dominated, taking home the 4th best and the top beer!

James Beard likes Michigan chefs!
The list of Restaurant and Chef semifinalists for the 2010 James Beard Foundation Awards has been released, and Michigan has an impressive five chefs in the running for Best Chef: Great Lakes!
