Inaugural Detroit Beer Week Announced, Oct 16 – 24, 2009
Following the success of “Beer Week” events held in other cities such as Philadelphia, New York and San Diego, a group of Industry Professionals is organizing the first ever Detroit Beer Week, to be held the third week of October, 2009.

Wine, Music & Microbrew in Traverse City
Over the last two weekends, The Village at Grand Traverse Commons hosted two new celebrations: the Traverse City Wine & Art Festival and the Traverse City Microbrew & Music Festival. Plans are already afoot to turn the week into a celebration of community, culture and the culinary offerings of the new foodie mecca that is the Traverse City area.

Absolute Michigan Giveaway: 2009 Epicurean Classic in St. Joseph
In cooperation with the Epicurean Classic, Absolute Michigan is excited to be giving away a pair of Gourmand Passes for the Classic. The passes are an almost $700 value and offer three access-filled days of Pure Epicurean Delight. The Epicurean Classic will be held in the city of St. Joseph on August 28 - 30, 2009.
