Creative Cities: The Bold Vision of Bill Strickland
Last night at the Creative Cities Summit, author and MacArthur Fellow Bill Strickland delivered one of the boldest and bluntest talks about what can and should be done to re-energize our cities and nation.

Creative Cities: an ecology of hope
I came to Detroit for the Creative Cities Summit unprepared, frankly, for the scale of the challenge that Michigan's largest city is facing. Two speakers: Toronto's Poet Laureate Pier Giorgio Di Cicco and British city planner & consultant John Howkins have some thoughts about overcoming those.

Michigan Radio's Northern Arts Series
Michigan Radio's Jennifer Guerra recently took a trip to northern lower Michigan to explore the ties between art & community. One of her stops was Chad Pastotnik's Deep Wood Press studio in Mancelona to learn about the centuries old art of letterpress. Also features on Bay Bucks, the Art Farm and Earthworks Music.
