Green Monday: Slow currents and fast winds
A new device designed by scientists at the University of Michigan called the "Vivace" inspired by the way fish swim can generate power from very slow currents and we also look at the inevitability of offshore windmills in Michigan.

Video Spotlight: Josh Davis Trio - "Working Man's Hymn"
Taped at the Mid-Michigan Environmental Action Council (Mid-MEAC) benefit, Absolute Michigan correspondent captured this video of the Josh Davis Trio performing "Working Man's Hymn". Held on Friday, November 7 the event raised nearly $4,000 to keep Mid-MEAC programs going and growing.

Changing Gears Thursday: Cars, Guards & 100 Pound Carp
The Pistons have changed point guards and are changing Tayshaun Prince to "point forward", Detroit auto companies are bracing for uncertain and perhaps catastrophic changes and a change has been recommended to keep invasives like the Asian carp out of the Great Lakes.
