DLECTRICITY, a new illuminated art festival for Detroit
DLECTRICITY is a new nighttime, outdoor contemporary art festival that will invite emerging and established artists, performers, lighting designers, and architects to make site-specific installations of light, sound, performance and projection along the Woodward corridor Friday, October 5 and Saturday, October 6, 2012.

Absolute Michigan was fortunate enough to be able to attend the 2012 Chef's Challenge at Boyne Mountain last weekend. This annual event benefits Challenge Mountain, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching and improving lives for the mentally and physically challenged through outdoor recreation.

Making A Splash - 2nd Annual Benzie County Water Festival Promises Family Fun
The Benzie County Water Festival is a family-oriented celebration and education event that takes place Saturday, April 14, 2012 and features world-class Michigan musicians, panel discussions, speeches from water luminaries, interactive multimedia projects and presentations, artisan foods and beverages, visual art, children's activities, as well as connections to local campaigns and projects.
